Cookie Policy

What cookies LinkExpo.io uses, what each one does, and how to control them.

Last updated: 13 August 2026
🍪 The short version. We use cookies to keep you logged in and to understand how the site is used. We don't use cookies to sell your data or build advertising profiles.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember things between page loads — like the fact that you're logged in — and help site owners understand how their site is used.

Some cookies last only for your current browsing session and disappear when you close the browser. Others stay for a set period.

2. Why we use them

  • To keep you signed in as you move between pages
  • To remember your preferences
  • To keep the platform secure and detect suspicious activity
  • To understand which pages are used, so we can improve them

3. Types of cookies we use

Strictly necessary

These are required for the site to work. They cannot be switched off in our system.

Analytics

These help us see how the site is used — which pages people visit and where they run into problems. The data is aggregated, not used to identify you personally.

PurposeWhat it doesDuration
Usage analyticsCounts visits and measures page performanceUp to 24 months
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies. LinkExpo doesn't run ads and doesn't sell your browsing data to advertisers.

4. Browser storage

Alongside cookies, we use your browser's local storage to hold your login token after you sign in. This is what keeps you authenticated when you visit your dashboard.

  • The token is stored only on your own device.
  • Logging out removes it and invalidates it on our side.
  • Clearing your browser data will log you out.

On a shared or public computer, always log out when you're finished.

5. Third-party cookies

Some cookies may be set by services we use to run the platform:

  • Analytics providers — to measure site usage
  • Live chat provider — to maintain your support conversation
  • Payment providers — set during checkout to process your payment securely

These providers set cookies under their own privacy policies. We don't control their cookies, and we don't share your personal data with them for advertising.

6. How to control cookies

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Common paths:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Most browsers also offer a private or incognito mode that clears cookies automatically when you close the window.

7. What happens if you disable them

⚠️ Blocking strictly necessary cookies and local storage will prevent you from staying logged in, which means you won't be able to place orders, manage listings or view your dashboard.

Blocking analytics cookies has no effect on how the site works for you — it only means we see less data about how the site is used.

8. Changes to this policy

We'll update this page if the cookies we use change. The "last updated" date at the top shows the latest revision.

9. Contact

Questions about cookies or how we handle data can be sent to support@linkexpo.io. See our Privacy Policy for the fuller picture on personal data.
